PMD appoint Tom Brown to the Board

Tom Brown, PMD Business Finance’s Head of Direct Finance has been appointed to the PMD Board. And is now a Director of the company.

He joined PMD just over 3 years ago after working for Lombard for 9 years previously. Making an immediate impact with the development and building of the direct function within PMD. And helped the business grow to the level where it’s now lending over £100m per year.

Working directly with SME businesses and through referrals from professional practices him and his team offer true flexibility. Through a range of business finance options providing the business community with a real alternative to traditional bank facilities.

Tom commented. “With over 40 funding partners to work with we can provide quick, competitive and appropriate business finance to businesses of all sizes. Our repeat business levels are very high and clients appreciate the speed in which we can put a competitive funding option on the table.”

Peter Dobson, PMD’s Managing Director and owner, commented “Tom has made a huge impact to the business. Our vendor and direct businesses are both expanding at a rapid pace and they complement each other perfectly. Tom is a very capable finance professional and extremely popular with the team. We’re over the moon with his choice to accept our invitation to join the PMD board. He’s building a capable team around him and with more business owners having less confidence with their banks there’s massive potential, with Tom at the helm, for us to grow our lending levels towards the £200m level.”
